Briefing of Minato gang programmers

All of Minato gang programmers can be operated by itself as stand-alone without any control station. This stand-alone architecture, fast speed programming and large buffer memory are ideal for mass production of high-density devices. To meet the needs of automated production, optional software XP-ROM is also available for remote control.
Minato gang programmers support thousands of devices. Various packages such as micro BGA, SOP, TSOP, PLCC, microcontroller are supported by conversion socket adapters. Minato supplies over one thousand of socket adapters to the market.
Minato gang programmers also have special features and functions as stand-alone units including LCD, individual operation keys for Copy, Erase, Blank, Program, and Continuos Operation. Other unique features for demanding professions are BYTE SWAP, change VCC, protect mode, address mode to simultaneously program multiple data on multiple devices (M1893, M1931). All are available on the operation panel.

Super Fast Programming

MODEL 1950 (New)

M1950 is Minato’s 22nd generation gang programmer. It is 7 times faster than former model. It is equipped with the standard 4G bits memory that can be added up to 8G bit. For data transfer, USB 2.0 port and Compact Flash slot are available as standard. M1950 can simultaneously program 16 pieces of 256M bits NAND flash in less than 40 seconds with two verify.

Fast Programming

MODEL 1940

M1940 is fast 16 site gang programmer supporting NOR, NAND flash, MPU and other PORM. It is equipped with the standard 256M bits memory that can be added up to 1G bit. M1940 is Minato’s 20th generation gang programmer. It is 2-5 times faster than former model such as M1893 and 1931. Various package is supported by socket adaptors on DIP. Most of adaptors are compatible among M1940, M1894, M1896 (except programmer support for NAND flash).

MCU

MODEL 1896 (New)

M1896 is a newly designed gang programmer which can take 8 pieces of large adaptors for micro-controllers. Standard SU-816 socket units enable to program either 8 pieces of 8 bits JEDEC or 16 bits EIAJ devices. It is equipped with 32M-bytes(256M bits)memories which can be expanded up to 128M-bytes (1 G bits).

USB

MODEL 1894

M1894 gang programmer equipped with standard 32M-bytes(256M bits) memory is a high-speed affordable gang programmer that can program 8 pieces of devices simultaneously. The memory can be expanded up to 128M bytes(1G bits). The unit, which can be operated as a standard without any remote control software and PC, is designed for high volume production of diversified PROM.

Universal

MODEL 1881UXP

PC based suitable to edit programming data for R&D(PC/AT; DOS/V) supporting devices are PLDS such as MACH, PAL, GAL and EPROMS/FLASH memories, and also one chip micro controllers. Packages in SOP, PLCC are supported by convertors as well.

MODEL 1893 (Discontinued)

This is a gang programmer that has extendable memory from a standard 4 megabytes (32 megabits) to 64 megabytes (512 megabits) maximum and is capable to program 8 devices simultaneously. The MODEL 1893 has made the best selling MODEL 1930's basic performance even better and accomplished better cost performance. The architecture is good for microcontroller that requires larger adapters.
Minato continues to provide maintenance support.
